Portrait of Patricia and Leo

Patricia Alice Foley, and Leo Henry were married in 1957. The family lore reveals they met at a party. Patricia, a very pretty redhead, country girl from the big city. Leo, a tall fellow home from the army and wearing an army surplus jacket. They were further told that Patricia asked him what his army rank had been. Leo, who was discharged as a corporal, is reported to have answered: “Colonel.” Aged 88 and 91, they are dedicated to one another.  Each one puts the other first, in all respects.  They take pride in their family.  They tease each other and enable each other to not take themselves too seriously.  They shore up each other’s weaknesses.   They have endured hardship together, and celebrated life together.  They adore Colonial Williamsburg.
