Exuberance of Songbird

Ok, I succumbed to it: the exuberance of pure color. This year the fall color inspired and created this impossibility, this “unicornucopia,” in my mind. A mixed murmuration of songbirds would never, could never happen. The bass (at bottom) is skeptical, though, of the frivolity of the world above. Maybe it’s all just a dream.
